How Can this Strong coenzyme That is in Every Cell of Your Body Help?
NAD+, or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, is a coenzyme found in all of our cells. It is essential for the metabolic processing of nutrients, meaning, “it determines how much of that salad you ate will power your body” and how many of its vitamins and minerals will go to waste.
As it’s a coenzyme (“co-, “as in facilitator), it also binds with other proteins to help provide a variety of benefits such as DNA repair and cell repair.
It works by transporting electrons from one place to another inside a cell. So, you can think of each NAD coenzyme as a taxi responsible for taking electrons to work inside the mitochondria (the part of the cell responsible for metabolism of nutrients, carbohydrates and fatty acids to produce energy). Heavenly Hydration understands that to get the full benefit of NAD+ treatments our patients will need to speak with our fully trained Nurse Practitioner and formulate a plan for treatment.
Investing in your health can be expensive. NAD+ treatments can be costly and we feel selling them in packages are a solution to the cost for NAD. The cost for treatments starts at eight hundred dollars. We do have a package offer. See our membership/special page for details.
NAD+ infusions are specific and each patient is different. Infusions can last anywhere from 2-3 hours or up to 4-5 hours. This will depend on the dosages and the patient. We do have a full concierge service and we send out a fully trained registered nurse to your home. This allows you to be comfortable while the infusion takes place.
The frequency of NAD+ treatments can vary depending on the individual circumstances, including health condition, age, lifestyle, and treatment goals.
Typically NAD+ infusions can be administered once a week for several weeks, followed by maintenance treatments as needed. The exact treatment will depend on the individuals needs and goals and should be determined in consult with our fully trained healthcare professional.
Like any medical treatment, NAD+ infusion can have some potential side effects. These can include: Nausea, Headache, Fatigue and Muscle cramps. NAD sometimes can also increase one’s heartrate and make you feel flushed or have sweaty palms. Its important to note that these side effects are typically mild and short lived. Oral NAD is taken in the form of a supplement, which is gradually absorbed into the blood stream through the digestive system losing a lot of its benefit through the process. Iv infusion allows for rapid and direct absorption into the body. This method is the most beneficial as it bypasses the digestive process.
